School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Term 4
Day for Daniel (Cancelled)

Time: All day
With your donation, we can educate children, schools and families to recognise signs of harm, to react in a safe way and to report to adults who can help stop the abuse. Our Walk Tall counselling service helps young victims of crime on their journey to recovery. Your support no matter how big or small, can make a difference.

Year 7 Orientation Day
Date: Tuesday, 2 December
Time: All Day
Parents and students are invited to attend an information session from
9:00am to 10:00am.
Parents will then leave students to enjoy the rest of the day with activities designed to familiarise them with high school life.
They will also participate in mini lessons
conducted by 2025 Year 7 teachers and interact with their new classmates.

Matt Smith Concert

The K/11 concert honours the memory of 2011 BCS School Captain Matt Smith and will feature musical performances from more than thirty talented students.

Semester 2 Positive Behaviour & Attendance Reward Excursion
Date: Thursday, 18 December
Time: All Day
The Semester 2 Positive Behaviour and Attendance Reward Excursion is a reward excursion for students from Years 7-11 that have;- achieved more positive behaviour incidents in Sentral than negative. Achieved 90% or greater attendance at school across semester two or improved their attendance in semester two by at least 10% in comparison to their semester one attendance level.
The venue for the excursion is Forster Main Beach. Students will be able to participate in various beach activities and swim in the enclosed ocean baths following satisfactory completion of a swimming ability assessment.
